Monsteras are a widely loved and wildly popular houseplant around the world for good reason. These beautiful plants are easy to care for and mature plants can have MASSIVE leaves.
The Monstera adansonii is often referred to as the Swiss Cheese Monstera because of its "holey leaves". As leaves mature, their fenestrations develop into holes throughout the leaves and look like slices of Swiss Cheese. These differ from the Monstera deliciosa, whose leaves tend to split from their fenestrations and have more of a "palm leaf" look as they mature.
Basic Care: Bright, indirect light. water when top 2" of soil is dry. Humidity appreciated, but not needed. Leaves do the best when the plant is allowed to climb or trail as it pleases.
